Westview Guesthouse bring you Renault Twizy hire in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Renault Twizy can be hired from us at Westview Guesthouse and is available for guests to experience electric car driving. Exploring the local Welsh countryside and border country in a Twizy provides a unique way to connect with the local people and landscape.
We encourage you to leave the car and experience low energy transport to discover the Brecon Beacons in a totally different and fun way. A Twizy is £45 per day to rent, stay with us for two nights and experience a Twizy free. Renault Twizy opens up lots of possibilities and adventures all in an eco friendly way.
We are founding members of the Eco Travel Network which has been set up to introduce low cost, low energy transport to the Brecon Beacons National Park with the use of fully electric Renault Twizys and make them available to visitors. The first Twizy arrived at Westview in May 2012.
Twizy hire & Twizy charging at Westview
You can hire a Renault Twizy from us whilst staying at Westview. Twizy rental is £45 per day with reduced rates for weekends and longer hire periods. Many different people have driven our Twizy, it is even booked for a wedding. Our eco Twizy rental/hire packages include accommodation at our green accredited bed and breakfast in Llowes, Hay-on-Wye. Our is business is run in a green sustainable way and Twizy hire adds to our commitment to these values by giving guests an eco friendly way to get around. We also have full fast charging for all types of electric vehicles and free charging for Eco Travel Network Twizys.
Eco Travel Network founders
The Eco Travel Network is based at Westview, we are founder members of the network and directors of the company. The first Twizy arrived at Westview in May 2012 and promptly put to work promoting the Twizy hire network at Hay Festival. It was used all week by the festival organisers and was popular with celebraties and public visiting the festival. In addition we provided full free EV charging to all at Hay Festival. We are working hard to make the network of Twizy hire in the Brecon Beacons a success and Eco Travel Network is run as not for profit company under the umbrella of the Green Valley project.
Renault Twizy hire takes two people
The Renault Twizy takes two people siting one behind the other similar to a bike. There is plenty of room for two to enjoy Twizy hire and both can share the fun of driving. A Twizy is a small two seater electric car however it can take two large people in easily, even at over six foot you can fit comfortably in the back. Our hire Twizy has a top speed of 50mph and realistic range of around 50 miles in Wales. We proide you a list of places keen to welcome you and provide charging whilst out and about with our rental Twizy.
Everyone loves the Twizy experience
Our Twizy makes people smile, so hiring a Twizy is great fun, everyone is interested in this unique and very different way of eco friendly transport so be ready for many admiring glances and lots of cheery faces. Everyone seems to love the Twizy. Even Ben, our house cat, has taken a shine to the Twizy fleet at Westview. Of course he is not 25 and doesn't have a full driving licence so cannot hire the Twizy, plus his driving skills need a little work, but he is very happy relaxing with his new friends and uses very little energy and zero carbon. He will occassionally allow his sister, Geraldine, to occupy the rear seat.
