Located in the village of Llowes and close to Hay on Wye it is an ideal location for exploring Mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons and enjoys superb views across to the Black Mountains.
Westview Guesthouse offers three double en-suite bedrooms and one twin with a private bathroom within a contemporary setting. From underfloor heating to power showers we aim to provide high standard accommodation in a lovely village. Whether it is the great outdoors or the book and cafe culture of Hay-on-Wye, Westview is the ideal place to stay, relax and explore the Brecon Beacons.
We are passionate about food at Westview and source our ingredients from local suppliers close to the Brecon Beacons. Our breakfasts provide a delicious start to your day, always freshly prepared and served in a relaxed setting whilst enjoying views across to the Brecon Beacons. Every morning there is a choice of a the daily special dish as well as the traditional Welsh breakfast! There is plenty to keep you busy whilst at Westview. Some of the best walking and adventure activities are to be had close to Llowes. It is easy to take a canoe down river or walk on the long distance Wye Valley Walk that passes just a few metres from Westview. Close by are some the of the best cycling and mountain bike tracks to be had anywhere, and the mountain climbing in the Beacons is renowned. For a slower pace the towns of Hay and Brecon provide plenty of independent shops, bookshops galore and great cafes. More about things to do...
Throughout the Guesthouse we try to be aware of our impact on the environment with a subtle and light touch. From the fabric of the building to supporting green tourism locally. Being close to the Brecon Beacons makes us even more determined to do our bit to protect the lovely area we are so fortunate to live in. Our bed and breakfast is run in sustainable way. Our latest project is the Eco Travel Network and have an electric Renault Twizy for guest use and full EV charging.
Our Renault Twizy is for hire and rent plus we are running eco friendly Twizy tours and Twizy road trips.
